Farming



Riversdale has long been a traditional farming property with acreage suitable for broad acre farming and running livestock. Currently the Estate runs 300 Border-Leister & 100 Merino sheep. Consequently, farming paddocks are sown with grazing crops to provide food sources year-round. The majority of the lambs are used in our Bistro and local Pubs including The Richmond Arms & Crown Inn.


Riversdale also produces lucerne & hay bales both in small squares and large round configurations.

These are sold to various properties and individuals however much is kept for our own Estate lambs. If you would like to secure a Summer or Winter allocation please contact us: info@riversdaleestate.com.au
