Riversdale has numerous venue options for your wedding reception

Each unique area has different benefits both seasonal & functional. Each area also suits various numbers of wedding guests. We are more than happy to tour you around these areas during your wedding planning journey.

The Restaurant - Up to 130 Guests

The French Bistro decorated with European style & elegance the venue can fit up to 130 guests using round tables with a maximum of 10 per table. Numerous configurations (both round table & square) can allow for a dance floor, red carpet walkway, photo booths among other things. Due to the proximity to the Orangery many larger weddings use this area for the dance floor thus allowing for a separation between the seated area. Seating is predominantly provided by Tiffany chairs whilst Bridal tables can allow for High Tea Orangery chairs.

High Tea Orangery - Up to 50 Guests

An elegant room suited to square tables. Allows for a more intimate reception whilst still provides a sophisticated area for guests to enjoy the day or evening. Seating is provided for by the High Tea Orangery chairs.

The Winery - Up to 45 Guests

Our Winery "Celestia" is perfectly suited for those wanting a sophisticated intimate reception in a world class facility. The main room overlooks the winery and is accompanied by 2 barrel caves underground in our main barrel hall. Expect to see polished stainless, glass, copper lines, polished concrete & wooden barrels.

Cellar Door - Up to 50 Guests

A European inspired room that can be used as both a casual canape style reception or intimate reception for 24 seated guests on the main wooden table, all keeping warm by the marble fireplace.

Outdoor Marquee Area - Up to 170 Guests

Overlooking the vineyard with panoramic views lies a flat grassed 400 square metre area. A larger marquee can fit up to 170 guests. Orientations can include both round and square tables. The location provides convenient access for wedding car arrivals or departures as well as access to all sandstone areas. Salters Hire are the preferred option for marquee installation & there are power options but it is recommended to also have a generator for the main power supply of the marquee, this alternate power source can be placed up to 90 metres away behind other buildings so there is no noise pollution.
