The Cellar Door is our special place where we can take you or a group through our extensive list, ranging from current releases to museum wines. We pride ourselves on giving unique & genuine tasting experiences by those who are fully involved in our practices.

We offer an array of tasting experiences that will introduce you to our unique wines & Estate.

Estate Tasting

Enjoy a structured tasting that concerntrates around our most notable varietals of the Estate label Showcasing Traditional Methode Sparkling, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir & of course our Syrah.

Estate & Reserve Tasting

This tasting is a masterclass of Riversdale terroir & winemaking. Showcasing the award-winning level of detail in our pursuit of Riversdale's pure expression. Taste both of our Esatte and Stellar Reserve labels & occaisonally our museum releases when available.

Estate Tour & Tasting

Enjoy a personalised tour of our Estate & Winery accompanied by tastings in our Cellar Door and Winery Caves. As a guest of Riversdale, you are shown every detail as to how we create our unique single estate wines.

Group Tastings

For 6 people or over, we offer group tastings that are tailored to focus on our Estate range of wines. Our Cellar door lends itself to group tastings as our large table provides room for 24 guests and more. Perhaps you may also like to add platters to accompany the tasting?

Riversdale Estateis located only 18 minutes from Hobart & 7 minutes from the Hobart Airport. Guest can drive, Uber or Taxi to our location with ease. However for those looking for other transport services and experiences, please see below!
